 현재 이클립스는 기본이라 할 수 있는 자바 개발도구(JDT)를 비롯해 이클립스 플러그인 개발 환경(PDE), C 개발도구 (CDT), 웹 개발 도구(WTP), 코볼 개발 도구(Cobol), PHP 개발 도구(PHP Language IDE), 비주얼 GUI 개발도구(VE) 등 매우 다양한 언어와 환경에 대한 개발 도구를 제공하고 있다. 이외에도 Adobe FlexBuilder, Borland Together, IBM Rational 등의 상용 개발 도구가 이클립스 플랫폼 기반으로 발표되기도 했다. 이와 관련해 RadRails 같은 공개 프로젝트도 활발히 운영되고 있다.

개방형 개발 플랫폼으로의 진화
1998년 IBM은 자바 플랫폼 기반 산업을 성장시키고 공개 커뮤니티 활성화시키기 위해서는 자바 개발 도구가 반드시 필요하다고 판단했다. 이러한 목표 아래 기왕이면 IBM은 자사의 모든 개발 도구 제품을 하나의 공통 플랫폼 기반으로 묶으려고 노력했다. 이렇게 해서 탄생한 범용 개발 도구 플랫폼은 이 시점에서 또 하나의 핵심 컴포넌트를 갖춘다. IBM의 주력언어였던 스몰톡(smalltalk) 환경에서 개발된 크로스플랫폼 GUI 툴킷인 CW(Common Widget)는 주력언어가 자바로 바뀌면서 SWT라는 툴킷으로 컨버팅되었다. 초기 개발 도구 플랫폼은 스윙을 사용해 작성되었지만 지나치게 느린 속도와 조악한 룩앤필로 인해, SWT를 툴킷으로 선택하고, 결국 지금과 같이 이클립스의 기반을 이루게 된다.

스프링노트(springnote)

스프링노트(http://www.springnote.com/)는 오픈마루 스튜디오(http://blog.openmaru.com/)에서 개발한 서비스 형태의 위키다. 스프링노트는 그동안 '사발면 프로젝트'라는 프로젝트 이름으로 불려왔다.
 스프링노트는 글을 읽는 화면과 쓰는 화면 사이의 구분이 없기 때문에 글을 읽다가 수정하고 싶은 부분이 있으면 그 자리에서 바로 수정 할 수 있는 '항상 편집' 기능, 저장 버튼없이 수정한 내용이 자동으로 저장되는 '자동 저장' 기능, 위지윅(WYSIWYG: What You See Is What You Get) 편집 기능 등을 제공한다. 이를 위한 클라이언트 측 자바스크립트를 적극 활용하고 있고, XmlHttpRequest 객체를 이용한 비동기 통신도 빈번하게 이용한다.
 또한 이 모든 기능이 현재 널리 쓰이는 다양한 브라우저에서 동일하게 수행되어야 하므로 브라우저 별로 모든 기능을 테스트하며 개발되어야한다.

프랙티스의 시대(Time for Practices)

프랙티스의 정의
 프랙티스는 문제의 특정한 부분을 해결하는 체계적이고 검증 가능한 방법을 제공한다. 여기서 주목해야 할 사항은 다음과 같다.

-프랙티스는 문제의 모든 부분을 해결하려고 하지 않는다. 오히려 프랙티스는 문제의 특정부분을 다룬다.
-프랙티스는 마술과 같은것이 아니라 명확히 볼 수 있다는 점에서 체계적이다. 분명한 시작과 끝이 있고 완전한 스토리를 가지고 있다.
-프랙티스는 명백한 목적과 함께 목적 달성 정도를 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제공함으로써 자체적인 검증 방식을 포함하고 있다. 검증 없이는 프랙티스가 완전할 수 없다.

이와 같은 특성 때문에 프랙티스는 개별적으로 개발되고 배우며 적용될 수 있다. 또한 이해라기 쉽고 잘 결합된 업무방식을 개발할 수 있도록 다른 프랙티스와 함께 사용될 수 있다.
 요약하면 프랙티스는 문제에 대한 증면된 접근 또는 해결방식인 셈이다. 프랙티스는 전에 누군가에 의해 실행되었고 다른 사람들과 쉽게 의사 소통할 수 있으며 일관된 결과를 산출하는데 반복적으로 쓰일 수 있는 것이다.

프랙티스의 기원
 프랙티스란 개념은 새로운 것이 아니다. 프랙티스는 소프트웨어 개발에 있어 늘 존재해왔고, 많은 소프트웨어 개발회사들은 자신들의 베스트 프랙티스를 선전하고 있다. 하지만 아무도 프랙티스가 정확히 무엇인지 정의하고, 이를 논리적이고 재사용 가능한 방법으로 서술하고 있지는 못한 것 같다. 실제로는 이미 존재하는 프랙티스를 서로 구분할 수 있고 각각이 제공하는 장점이 무엇인지 히애하며 무엇을 언제 어떻게 사용해야 할지 알기만 하면 선택할 수있는 무수한 프랙티스가 존재한다.
 소프트웨어 개발 커뮤니티에서 프랙티스는 프로세스와 비슷하게 다음의 주요 세 진영이 등장한다.

- 소프트웨어 엔지니어링(Unified Process, Booch, OMT, Responsibility-Driven Design, Shlaer/Mellor, User-Centered Design, Open, Feature-Driven Development 등)
-프로세스 보증 : CMMI, SPICE, Six Sigma, TSP/PSP
-애자일 : XP, Scrum, Crystal Clear, Adaptive Software Development, Organizational Patterns of Agile Software Development

 이들 각 진영은 모두 프랙티스와 연관되있다. Scrum은 분리되고 재사용 가능한 형태로 프랙티스를 이미 소개한 좋은 예이다. Scrum의 프랙티스는 반복적 프로젝트를 계획하고 실행하기 위한 관리 프랙티스로 정의된다. 이는 팀이 사용하는 엔지니어링이나 다른 프랙티스와는 완전히 별개다. 이러한 프랙티스 분리나 다른 프랙티스와 혼합해조화시킬 수 있는 점은 Scrum이 널리 쓰이고 유명해진 이유이기도 하다.
 Rational Unified Process에서 반복적 프로젝트 관리를 서술하는 방식과 Scrum의 방식을 비교하여 보자. RUP는 반복적 프로젝트 관리를 RUP라고 하는 큰 프로세스와 강력히 결합되어 분리할 수 없는 부분으로 묘사하고 있으며 Unified Process 생명주기 유즈케이스, 컴포넌트, 아키텍처 기반 없이는 사용하기 어렵게 서술되어 있다. 이는 고객이 다른 프랙티스들을 모두 적용하지 않고 원하는 프랙티스만 적용하는 것을 어렵게 만들고 있다.

흠 UX

웹2.0 3.0 이라는 말이 쓰이는 요즘에 걸맞게 복잡한 구성보다 단순하지만 많은 링크를 담을 수 있고 한눈에 알아 볼 수 있는 웹페이지가 필요합니다.


게임사이트이니 만큼 하나의 거대한 포털처럼 키우기보다 개인들의 자료 내지는 영상물을 공유할 수 있는 사이트가 되어서 많은 이들이 접속하도록 유도하는 것이 더욱 중요할 것 같습니다.

정보의 공유가 활발하도록 유도하는 것이 좋은 사이트라고 생각됩니다.

구글의 에드센드 처럼 사용자에게 캐쉬백 효과를 주는 것도 좋은 방법이지만 그것보다 좋은 방법은 역시 많은 추천이 달리는 글의 경우 부가적으로 게임상에서의 혜택을 주도록 하는 것도 하나의 방법일 것입니다.리니지의 색감은 역시 갈색이지만 그것보다 밝은 푸른빛 (현재의 palyNC)사이트처럼 만드는 것도 괜찮을 것입니다. 하지만 한국형 사이트처럼 너무 많은 링크를 포괄할 경우 오히려 부담스럽다는 느낌을 저버릴수 없습니다.

차라리 이런한 방식으로 만드는 것이 더욱 효율적이라고 생각됩니다.



UX의 중요성 (user experience) – 사용자가 제품이나 서비스를 통해서 얻게 되는 경험

흔히 말하는 ui와 비슷한 개념이지만 ui의 경우 그저 인터페이스 자체의 편리함을 알린다면 ux의 경우는 그것으로 인한 사용자가 실질적으로 얻는 반응에 대한 용어라 할 수 있습니다.

Ux를 개선하기 위해서는 여러 가지 분야의 전문성이 필요합니다. 학문적으로는 심리학과 인문학, 컴퓨터과학, 시각 디자인, 산업디자인 등의 분야가 있고, 실무적으론 기획자와 디자이너, 개발자의 전문 역량이 모두 필요한 분야라고 할 수 있습니다.

기획자-사용자의 요구사항에 대한 분석(마케팅,서비스기획,사용자 패턴분석,잠재 욕구분석)

디자이너-정보를 시각화하는 방법에 대한 전문성

개발자-다양한 ux기술의 전문가 수준의 애해(실버라이트,플렉스,스프링프레임워크,레일즈,루비,FX자바 등)

그리고 무엇보다 중요한 것은 각분야의 교점에서 상호작업들을 잘 이해하고 연결해 줄 수 있는

역할을 가진 사람이 필요합니다. PM이라고도 합니다.



그리고 일본 홈페이지에 추가하면 좋은 아이디어는

1. 한국에서 상용화된 게임이 외국으로 갈 경우 한국서버에 있는 정보(사용자가 올린 글)을 번역하여 볼 수 있도록 합니다.

2. 공성전등의 중요한 전투나 이벤트들을 자사에서 직접 녹화하여 방송합니다.



게임의 종류도 많이 있지만 그만큼의 유저들의 정보다 많이 있습니다. 그것을 공유하도록 유도하는 것이 위키 라고 할 수 있습니다. 그만큼 사용자들이 그 사이트를 많이 이용하게 되는 것입니다.한마디로 온라인 게임이니 만큼 게임 안에서는 물론이며 웹사이트에서도 활발한 정보 공유 및 사용자의 활동이 있을수록 많은 이들이 즐겨 볼 수 있을 것입니다.



이보다 더 많은 자료나 지식은 저의 머리 속에 담겨 있습니다.

처음부터 경력자 일 수는 없습니다. 10명의 경력자가 일을 더 원활히 진행할 수는 있지만 1명의 신입만큼 새로운 생각을 가지고 있지는 않습니다. 어떤 직종이든지 경력이 쌓일수록 새로움이 사라지게 됩니다. 사람에 따라 그 속도가 다를 뿐입니다.

7 기해의 인물 추천

 진나라의 대부 기해가 늙게 되자 진나라 임금이 물었다. "누구를 그대의 후임으로 삼았으면 좋겠습니까?" 기해가 대답했다. "해호가 좋겠습니다." 임금이 의아해하며 물었다. "그 사람은 그대와 원수 사이가 아닙니까?" 이에 기해는 이렇게 답했다. "임금께서는 후임으로 누가 좋겠는가 를 물으셨지 저의 원수가 누구이가를 물으신 것이 아니지 않습니까?" 그리하여 임금은 드디어 해호를 후임으로 기용하였다.
 얼마 후 임금이 다시 다른 문제로 이렇게 물었다. "과연 누구를 국위로 삼았으면 알맞겠습니까?" 이에 기해는 "오가 알맞은 인물입니다"라고 대답하였다. 임금이 "그는 그대의 아들이 아닙니까?" 라고 묻자 기해는 이렇게 답했다." 임금께서는 국위로 알맞은 인물이 누구인가를 물으셨지 저의 아들이 누구인가를 물으신 것이 아니지 않습니까?"
 군자들은 이 일을 두고 기해야말로 사람을 잘 추천하는 자라고 하였다. 자신의 원수를 거론하면서 의심하는 일도 없고, 자신의 아들을 세우면서 자랑하지도 않는다는 것이었다. 서에 "치우침도 작당함도 없으니 왕도가 탕탕하도다"라고 하였으니, 바로 기해 같은 경우를 두고 한 말이다. 외거에 원수라고 해서 천거를 꺼리지 않았고, 내거에 친척이라고 해서 천거를 주저하지 않았으니 지극히 공정하다 이를 만하다. 오직 훌륭한가만을 따졌기 때문에 그에 맞는 동류를 추천할 수 있었던 것이다. 시에 "그 스스로가 재능을 가졌으니 이 때문에 그와 비슷한 자를 골라낼 수 있도다"라고 했으니, 기해는 그러한 덕을 가지고 있는 자였다

6 죽어서도 간언을 한 사추

 위衛 영공 때 거백옥은 어질면서도 등용되지 못하였고, 미자하는 불초하였으나 정사를 맡고 있었다. 위나라의 대부 사추가 이를 근심하여 여러 차례 영공에게 간하였지만 영공은 이를 들어주지 않았다.
 사추는 병이 들어 죽음이 임박하자 자신의 아들에게 이렇게 일었다. "내가 죽거든 북당에서 장례를 치러다오 내가 살아서 거백옥을 추천하지 못하였고 미자하를 축출하지도 못했으니, 이는 임금을 바른 길로 가게 하지 못한 것과 같다. 살아 있을 때 임금을 바른 길로 인도하지 못한 자는 죽어서 장례를 치를 때 예를 갖추지 않는 법. 그러니 나의 시신을 북당에 안치하는 것만으로도 나에게는 족하다."
 사추가 죽고 나서 영공이 조문을 왔는데 북당에서 장례를 치르는 것을 보고 의아하게 여겨 그 까닭을 물었다. 이에 그 아들이 아버지가 임종 때 부탁했던 말을 영공에게 들려주자 영공은 어쩔 줄 몰라하며 낯빛을 바꾸고 깨달은 듯이 자리를 잃고 이렇게 말했다. "선생께서는 살아 계실 때는 어진이를 추천하고 불초한 자를 몰아내기 위해 애쓰시더니, 죽어서도 여전히 그 뜻을 굽히지 않고 주검으로 나에게 간언을 하는구나. 충성스러우면서 그 성의가 조금도 쇠퇴하지 않았다고 이를 만하도다."
 이에 거백옥을 등용하여 경벼슬을 내리고 미자하는 축출하였다. 그리고 사추의 주검을 정당으로 옮겨 예를 갖추어 장례를 치르게 한후 돌아갔다. 위나라는 이로써 잘 다스려졌다. 사추는 자가 자어子魚이며, 논어에서 "곧도다! 사어史魚여!" 라고 말한 바로 그 인물이다.

5 번희와 초나라 장왕

번희樊姬는 초楚나라의 부인이다. 어느 날 초 장왕이 조회를 하느라 늦게야 돌아오자 번희가 장왕에게 늦도록 회의를 한 까닭을 물었다. 장와은 이렇게 말하였다. "오늘 어진 재상과 더불어 이야기를 주고받느라 시간이 이렇듯 흘렀는지 몰랐구려."  그러자 번희가 다시 물었다.  "어진 재상이라면 누구를 말씀하시는 것입니까?" "구구자를 두고 한 말이오." 왕의 이 대답에 번희는 입을 가리고 웃었다. 왕이 그 까닭을 묻자 번희는 이렇게 대답했다.
 "첩은 다행스럽게도 건즐을 잡고 대왕을 모시면서 귀함과 사랑을 독차지하고 싶은 마음이 없는 것은 아니지만, 혹시나 대왕의 의義를 상하게 하지 않을까 하여 첩과 동등한 지위의 여러 여자들을 임금께 바쳤습니다. 그러나 지금 우구자는 재상이 된 지 십수년이 되었지만 단 한 번도 어진 이를 추천한 적이 없습니다. 알면서도 추천하지 않았다면 이는 충성심이 없는 것이요, 몰라서 그랬다면 이는 지혜롭지 못한 사람입니다. 그런데도 어찌 어질다고 일컬으십니까?"
 이튿날 조회 때 왕이 번희의 말을 우구자에게 일렀다. 그러자 우구자는 머리를 조아리며 "번희의 말대로입니다"라 하고는 재상의 자리를 사직하고 손숙오를 초나라 재상으로 추천하였다. 이리하여 초 장왕은 마침내 패업을 이룰 수 있게 되었다. 초 장왕이 패업을 이룬 것은 번희가 그에게 많은 힘이 되어 주었다고 하겠다.
-건즐巾櫛- 巾은 수건,櫛은 빗. 손을 씻고 나서 수건을 받쳐 올리고 머리를 빗도록 빗을 들고 모신다는 뜻으로, 여자가 남자를 모심을 일켣는 겸얌의 표현

4 흥망성쇠의 이유

 우禹임금이 흥할 수 있었던 것은 도산씨의 도움 때문이었으며, 걸桀이 망할 수밖에 없었던 것은 말희 때문이다. 또 탕湯이 흥할수 있었던 것은 유신씨 덕택이었고, 주紂가 망한것은 달기 때문이었다. 그런가 하면 문왕文王과 무왕武王이 흥할 수 있었던 것은 그 어머니 태임太任과 태사太姒의 덕분이요, 유왕에 이르러 망하고 만것은 포사 때무이었다. 이런 까닭에 시詩에서는 관저를 가장 바른 장으로 여겼고, 춘추春秋에서는 백희를 크게 칭찬하고 있는 것이다.
